देशातला तूर उत्पादक शेतकरी मग तो मराठवाडा, विदर्भातला शेतकरी असो की कर्नाटकातला गुलबर्ग्याचा शेतकरी असो; त्याला आपण भारताऐवजी आफ्रिकेतील मोझंबिकामध्ये जन्म का घेतला नाही, याचे अतोनात दुःख होत आहे. मोझंबिकाच्या तूर उत्पादक शेतकऱ्याचा हेवा वाटतो आहे. त्याचे कारण म्हणजे केंद्र सरकारकडून देशातील तूर उत्पादकांना सवतीच्या पोरासारखी वागणूक मिळत असताना मोझंबिकातील शेतकऱ्यांसाठी मात्र पायघड्या पसरल्या जात आहेत
