बंगालच्या उपसागरातील कमी दाब क्षेत्राची वाढलेली तीव्रता, दक्षिणेकडे सरकलेला मॉन्सूनचा आस पूरक ठरल्याने राज्यात पावसाचा जोर वाढण्याची शक्यता आहे. आज (ता. १५) पूर्व विदर्भात जोरदार पावसाचा इशारा (ऑरेंज अलर्ट) आहे. तर उर्वरित विदर्भासह, कोकण, मध्य महाराष्ट्र, मराठवाड्यात जोरदार पावसाचा इशारा (येलो अलर्ट) हवामान विभागाने दिला आहे.
Increased intensity of the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, complemented by a southward shift of the Monsoon axis, is likely to increase the rainfall in the state. Today (15th) there is a heavy rain warning (Orange Alert) in East Vidarbha. Meanwhile, along with the rest of Vidarbha, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning (yellow alert) of heavy rain in Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada.
